Trump's Granddaughter Seeks Professional Guidance from Tiger Woods Ahead of LPGA First Appearance
The rising star boasts impressive online following
Kai Trump can count on numerous prominent cheerleaders as she starts her first LPGA appearance later this week.
This teenage golfer, who is related to Donald Trump, was granted a tournament invitation to compete at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
The former president, an avid golfer, operates multiple international courses and often matches against Kai.
"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we play some close matches," she stated.
The golfer shared that her grandfather, who cannot attend, advised her: "Simply avoid anxiety."
"My grandpa essentially advised me to go out there and enjoy myself," she explained.
"In my eyes, he's just a normal grandpa. He's not attending this weekend. He's busy with presidential duties, so he's somewhat preoccupied."
As an amateur, Kai has participated in only three events recently and holds position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.
Yet she can seek guidance from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with Vanessa.
"He stands as the best player in the world," Kai stated.
"And he's an even better individual. He told me to compete, relax, and go with the flow."
The golfer will compete against some of most prominent players in professional golf at the competition, such as world number two Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
The LPGA mentioned that her participation brings golf to new audiences, particularly with the next generation.
Kai has substantial online presence and has started an exclusive clothing and lifestyle label.
Her first tee time at late afternoon GMT.
